Performance Coaching has been defined as the ability to unlock a person’s potential to maximise their own performance – guiding and helping them to learn rather than directing and telling them how to perform.  As the 21st century world of work continues to create challenges regarding value-added performance, effective coaching and counseling has become more critical than ever. Being an effective performance coach is a mandatory skill for managers at all levels in order to ensure maximum performance contribution from employees at all levels.   Faced with increasing pressures and accelerating change, organizations depend more on their people to learn and change quickly in order to continuously improve and remain competitive.  This challenge can only be met by balancing three factors to achieve maximum levels of performance:

  • the organization’s need for maximizing employee contribution and value;
  • the individual’s drive and motivation for job satisfaction and personal worth;
  • the manager’s capacity and capability to guide & coach towards high performance

Today, effective performance coaching requires a skill-based approach that creates the right environment to addresses these factors while encouraging and motivating people to want to learn, grow, and perform at their personal best. High-Performance coaching provides a balanced blend of skills that help managers develop, motivate, grow, and retain people in today’s changing and challenging workplace. In business, public or private, performance coaching is a continuous process that should focus on helping people to learn to develop themselves by maximizing individual potential for contribution and value to the organization. High-Performance coaching is therefore not about developing other people, but focusing the employee on their own development goals and helping the individual employee to achieve them. High-Performance Coaching provides skill-based solution for your managers to become better and more effective performance coaches. Key learning focus during this workshop will include:
