Presenter: Pat LaPoint, President & CEO of Regulatory Compliance Associates, Inc. (RegComp)
In order to keep businesses operating, employers need to be ready to control the issues concerning a post-pandemic or recurrent pandemic workplace, not just from the novel Coronavirus, but any infectious disease pandemic. Businesses must act immediately in avoiding getting caught with their guard down again. They must protect their employees, address their many business challenges and risks, while mitigating infectious disease pandemics in whatever way they can.
As officials across the United States give the “green light” to businesses to reopen, OSHA has announced it will bolster its in-person inspections. As of September 2020, OSHA Staff has been directed to prioritize COVID-19 inspections, utilizing the historical enforcement tool – “The General Duty Clause”.
The CDC and OSHA have highly recommended that employers develop a customized Infectious Disease Preparedness and Response Plan. During this engaging mini-webinar, we will discuss the development, validation and implementation of a site-specific Plan for your business. It will include informational handouts and a power point presentation review for employee training.
