RCRA Hazardous Waste Management/DOT HazMat

RCRA HAZARDOUS WASTE

Hazardous waste training is required annually. Initial training is required within six months of having a hazardous waste activity.

Topics covered in this meaningful course include:

Overview of Laws and Regulations, Hazardous Waste Identification, the Importance of Chemical Compatibility; Generator’s Responsibilities (including the new Hazardous Waste Generator Improvements Rule), Universal Wastes, Used Oil, Enforcement and Penalties.

Each attendee will receive a Training Manual. Certifications will be awarded upon successful completion of examination.

 

 

DOT HAZMAT HANDLING COURSE

DOT training is required at a minimum of every three years. Initial training is required within 90 days of having a hazmat function. This course will take the mystery out of your hazmat shipping and receiving requirements, including shipping hazardous waste to a disposal facility.

Topics covered in this course include: Overview of HazMat Transportation Requirements, How and When HazMat Registration is Required, Understanding the DOT Hazardous Materials Table, Packaging, Marking, Labeling, Placarding, How to Complete Shipping Papers, and What are Reportable Quantities.

Each attendee will receive a Training Manual. Certifications will be awarded upon successful completion of examination.
